Serçin Mezhepoğlu
Contemporary Glass Mosaic Artist
Glass mosaic has carried light across Anatolia for two thousand years. In Serçin Mezhepoğlu’s hands, it travels further still — through the symbols, mythologies, and visual languages of civilizations across the globe.

The world is my home.

North Star
Like the North Star, each direction points toward a different destination. Each may hold a culture, a mythology, a symbol, an exhibition, a museum, or a human encounter.
Serçin Mezhepoğlu’s practice does not settle within a single geography. It moves between civilizations — drawing the symbols, traditions and mythologies of distant cultures into a shared visual language of glass. The works form a constellation of encounters across the world, held together by the recurring themes of navigation, discovery and cultural dialogue.
